Now the election is over, and the winner has been announced. Fine. Okay, it's the way it's going to be. I am troubled, however by the venom and hatred hemorraging from both sides. The ingracious gloating and name calling from the winners, the accusations and defensiveness from the losers. It's sad. I thought we are supposed to be One Nation. We the People. But it dosen't seem like it.
When it all boils down, who wins with dissention and hatred? No one. This has been the ugliest campaign in history, and even though it's over, we still have to be nasty and snotty to each other?
Why?
Shouldn't we be united against a common foe? Not as Democrats or Republicans but as Americans.
