Okay, help me out here. I'm not casting aspersions or trying to step on toes here. But what the hell is the fascination with American Idol? I have seen a whopping 5 minutes of that show in it's entire life. Yet, I hear people talking about it at work, at the gym, at the mall, in restaurants....wherever I go. And then some people blog about it.
Whats so good about it? What makes is any different than any other 'talent' show that has ever been on TV?
I'm just asking, thats all. I'm curious. Not curious enough to sit down and watch it, but curious nonetheless.
