I thought I'd give this a whirl today. (In my ongoing quest for something for lunch.)
Not too shabby. Almost like thin queso cheese dip. It's got a little kick to it, and not real salty like lots of canned soups.
I bet if you put some boneless skinless chicken breasts in a baking dish with mushrooms, onions and broccoli, and poured a can of this over it, the results would be pretty good. Hmm...
Now that I've eaten a bowl of it. I think being a recipe soup would be more it's style. It's too thick to be put in the soup and sandwich catagory. It's too thin to be chowder (chowda). As an add-in soup, it would be really great. I'll report back with the results later.
